Redline District
★★★★☆ 4.1
Redline District goes for pure arcade thrills and mostly nails it. The tracks wind through neon-soaked city blocks, and the drift mechanic is forgiving enough to feel good while still rewarding precise lines. We switched between tilt and on-screen steering and both held up.
Car upgrades are simple to follow, and events are bite-sized so a quick race never turns into a half-hour commitment. The soundtrack carries the vibe more than you'd expect.
It's not deep, and after a while the city environments start to blur together. But as a game to pick up for five minutes it delivers exactly the burst of speed it promises.
What we liked
- Strong sense of speed
- Forgiving drift controls
- Quick, repeatable race events
