Mobile games that respect your time
A good mobile game treats your attention as something borrowed, not owned. The clearest sign is how it handles a session's end. Can you stop whenever, or does it nudge you to stay with timers and streaks?
I've grown allergic to designs that punish leaving. The games I keep installed let me put the phone down guilt-free and pick it back up right where I was. That respect is worth more than any shiny feature.
When I review a game, this is quietly one of the biggest factors in the score. Fun matters, sure. But a fun game that makes me feel used doesn't survive on my phone, and I won't pretend otherwise to readers.
